The Program Aide Team is for registered Girl Scouts entering Grades 7-12. 

Join the Camp Metro PA Team and take on a leadership role during summer day camp. You’ll have a great time while being a role model for campers and helping to facilitate camp activities.

Required:

  • MUST be 12 years old entering the 7th grade with 25 hours of PA experience* OR 13-years-old entering the 8th grade

  • Completion of PA101 training

  • Completion of Summer Camp PA/CIT Orientation

  • Submission of Camp PA Application (provided at orientation)

* MUST submit signed PA log or GivePulse summary at orientation

** Camp discounts do not apply to this session.

*** Additional Information: Before/after care is offered for all Camp Metro sessions from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at no additional cost at Sally Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center (SCGSLC) & West Side Girl Scout Leadership Center (WSGSLC). Transportation is provided from SCGSLC to WSGSLC daily – girls must be checked in at SCGSLC by 8 a.m. Meals are provided – breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Camp t-shirt for the week. Field trip cost is included in the price.

**By registering for this activity, you acknowledge:

  • The camp aide/training fee is nontransferable and nonrefundable.
  • The camp cancellation policy in the 2020 Summer Camp Guide and on your registration receipt.
  • Discount rates do not apply to camp aide/training sessions.
  • Compliance with the prerequisite requirement, grade level restriction and that your Girl Scout is a current registered member. If your Girl Scout is not in the grade level required, does not have the completed prerequisites or is not a current registered member, the registration will be cancelled and will result in a 25% administrative fee. If you would like to become a Girl Scout member and sign up for this and other exciting girl experiences, click here . 

***Non-Council Girl Scout Fee—For Girl Scouts with current membership residing out­side GSSWT’s service area, there is an additional $50 fee per girl/per session that will be added to your camp balance. Note: This $50 fee will be assessed to each camp session. Camp balance must be paid in full before attending camp.

Cancellation Policy
If a camp program is cancelled by council for any reason, a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is made by the customer no later than three weeks prior to the camp program, the customer will receive a refund minus the deposit fee. If a cancellation is made by the customer within three weeks of the camp program, a refund will not be given. If a camper does not pass the physical examination or an unexpected illness occurs prior to the camp's start date, a refund can be requested and the amount will be determined by the camp director. There will be no refund should a camper leave session early due to an illness, homesickness, misbehavior or parental request.
