This event is open to all Girls Grades K-12.
K.E.Y.S.—a free, new and innovative Girl Scout program that provides girls, K-12th grade a holistic approach to learning. With so many school districts having to restructure and redesign their in-person learning, Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas will fill the gap to meet the needs of girls and parents in our community.
Girls will complete required classroom curriculum while participating in structured activities based on—and intentionally aligned with— academic core-value instruction in a girl-friendly, adult-supervised environment. Girls will also have the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities such as STEM, arts, healthy living, and have access to our computer lab. Our goal is for girls to develop life-long skills like critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, communications, team building, and social and emotional skills that will help her become a more courageous and confident young woman. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. There will be 10 participants per classroom adhering to city, state and federal COVID-19 protocols.

Please note: This is not to replace school. It is a supplement for those whose districts are doing online learning.
Girl Scouts will provide: computers and tablets (while supplies last), WIFI access, school supplies if needed, tutorial assistance and variety of resources. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. Parents will drop-off and pickup at the West Side Girl Scout Leadership Center.
Girls who are not already registered members and wish to participate, will be registered upon signing up.
